This picture was taken by Walker Evans, 1903-1975. The web sites name is http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?fsaall:3:./temp/~ammem_7QOD:. It was published on a December in the year 1935. This is a Coca-Cola shake. It is outdoors, There is not that much lighting, it looks like it is more in a desert town, on an afternoon. In this picture, there are no people, and no color. The features that make it distinguished is that it looks like it came out of the Disney Epcot Center with it's old fashion looks. The thing that caught my eye was that it was a Coca-Cola shack, yet there is no people looking to relax, hang-out with friends, and have a Coke. This shack is all alone and it is a business. The condition looks like it is new except for the fence. It is light, has a postive look, and is light again. I say ths because, it appears to be day time. I am really guessing because the picture is in black and white. One question I have is, why isn't anybody there? I ask this because it looks like a hangout. I am also curious to why is it in the middle of what appears to be nowhere? I thought that it was a business and there is nobody in the middle of nowhere usually.

This picture was taken by Walker Evans in December of 1935. The website is http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?fsaall:2:./temp/~ammem_6mF3:. This is a clothing store in Sekma, Alabama. There is alot of lighting since it is day time. This is an a urban area. This is during the day. There is some people in this rural area. There are 3 or 4 people in this picture. Don't know any ages. They are wearing jackets. The thing that caught my eye is the wagons. This makes me wonder, why is there wagons outside a clothing store. There are buildings all over the area. It looks like it is new. The buildings are mostly bussiness's. There is little to no spacing between buildings. The buildings are surrounding business's. It has heavy light. It is postive, and is dark. I can tell because the buildings are dark during the day. The only other question I have is what is the thing near the sign. By Eric

This picture was taken by Walker Evans, once again. Taken in December 1935. This place is outside and there is lighting. It is in a urban area. It looks like it is in the afternoon. There is no people in the picture, What caught my eye is there are no cars in this hotel or what ever it is. There nothing here. It looks like it is starting to fall apart. There is plenty of space. There is nothing surrounding the place. The tone is high, it is dark, and positive. I say this because this picture appears to look like this. The two questions I have are why is the place empty, and why hasn't this place fall apart yet.
